Former Pride champion Fedor Emelianenko recalled his youth victory in the flak acrobatic jump.
“I absolutely enjoyed it when our gymnasts did flak,” Emelianenko said in the Okko TV documentary. – Do you understand what a flask is? Jump backwards, webpage arms-and-legs. So I could leap the length of the hall – one, two, three, four, five, and six – so I could jump the length of the hall. Kirill von [Sidelnikov] was skeptical, he told the men today (laughs).
I used to get up at 6:00 a.m., wash my teeth fast, and sprint here, to the school’s stadium. And before training, I ran three kilometers around this stadium, and then I went to training. What would I say now to a 13-year-old version of myself? You’re on the correct route if you say, “I used to live in the hall, and I still do.”
Emelianenko will face Timothy Johnson at Bellator 269 in Moscow on October 23.
